Autogenic Training (AT) is a profound form of relaxation training. It’s easy to learn, and the process involves learning and practising a series of mental exercises that can be carried out anywhere. AT does not require you to wear special clothing, it needs no equipment and you are not required to ‘believe’ in anything. One of the most important things about AT is that once you complete the course you use it independent of any other person or therapist.

Is AT suitable for everyone?
All clients are asked to complete a health questionnaire and are interviewed by the therapist before embarking on a training programme. Most clients are found suitable. However some clients may need special supervision, particularly if they have medical conditions that need frequent monitoring or treatment. Your AT therapist is always available for preliminary discussions.
